Tubing Adapter, 8 mm to 10 mm ID

Safely and easily connect and disconnect tubing from glassware or other tubing with just a quarter twist. These patented adapters eliminate broken glass ports and prevent twisted tubing. Adapter body is glass fiber-reinforced polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) thermoplastic polyester; safe to 392°F (200°C).

O-rings and gaskets are made from ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM); safe to 302°F (150°C). Adapters are also available with Viton® flouroelastomer O-rings and gaskets for temperatures to 392°F (200°C)—call our Application Specialists for details. Maximum pressure rating for adapters is 30 bars; maximum vacuum rating is 0.5 mm Hg. Tubing-to-glass connections require two adapters. Choose one glassware adapter depending on your specific glassware port size and type (threaded or barbed), then select a tubing adapter depending on your desired tubing size. Tubing-to-tubing connections require three adapters.

Order one tubing coupling adapter and two tubing adapters (for the same or different tubing sizes). To connect tubing through glassware, tanks, or walls, order the flask/bulkhead adapter and an appropriate tubing adapter.
